I just wanted to write a couple of sentences about my condo purchase experience with Robert Kirkwood as my real estate agent. I had been looking to purchase a condo in Toronto for over two years and it was not an easy thing to do considering my budgetary constraints and my location and size preferences. Once I finally found a match I called Robert as soon as the listing was posted on the MLS system and Robert was able to get me an appointment to check out the place the same day and since it turned out I liked the place, Robert right away prepared an offer which was within the limits comfortable for me and somewhat below the asking price. He did his best in negotiating with the seller’s agent and my offer was accepted within 24 hours even thought it was below the asking price and there were multiple viewing request after my offer was made.
During the couple of weeks leading to the closing, Robert ensured that all the relevant docs were done step by step along the way reminding me of all the deadlines to meet, so my purchase transaction was completed with no hiccups. Throughout the process Robert promptly answered all my emails, texts and calls and provided me with his best advice and guidance. In my honest opinion, Robert turned out to be a real estate agent that not just gives you up to 50% of his commission back, but provides much superior service than his peers, e.g. nearly 24-7 availability and support, unmatched up to 50% cash back, no pressure and friendly demeanor etc, and it’s quite likely that you will find that his service will surpass the service many full commission agents provide. I have no hesitation in recommending Robert for a real estate transaction that will make you smile in the end and I am confident you will not regret choosing him as your real estate agent to complete your transaction. I came across Robert by google search and didn't have too high expectation at the beginning based on my past experience with so many real estate agents including top seller I worked with. It turned out everything is above my expectation and I'm lucky to have Robert as my buyer agent.
Starting the first phone call conversation, I was impressed by his knowledge, his transparent process. During the house showing, he demonstrated his extensive experience and helped explained all the questions we had, unlike the agents I worked before who were always trying to push you to make decision, he was patient and objective when giving his opinions. The negotiation process was critical and it was the time to differentiate a good agent from the crowd. From the agreement drafting to the whole negotiation process, Robert was always put our benefit at first, balancing between securing a deal and saving money for clients, in today's hot real estate market, it wasn't easy to do even for an experienced agent. After the deal was finalised, Robert continued to provide good service for the remaining steps, whenever we had questions to reach out to him, he was always getting back to us on time. I highly recommend Robert because of his outstanding customer service, the experience, the professionalism and good communication skills. A real estate agent with cash back but the quality of service is never discounted. This is the what we are looking for and I'm sure this is what most buyers are looking for. |

We stumbled across Robert's website quite by chance. After dealing with a series of over-entitled real estate agents who provided lack luster service in exchange for substantial commissions in an over heated Toronto market, we were looking for a change.
